Dear Friends of Blessing Our Future,

Given the unprecedented year we have just experienced, it is encouraging to see our communities begin to open up again, bringing us hope. Along with that hope, we are excited as we look forward to the 2021-2022 school year.

In consultation with the South Bay Deanery of pastors and principals, it has been determined that the Blessing Our Future Program will sunset this summer, and all remaining designated and undesignated funds have been distributed to our South Bay Catholic Schools for additional tuition support. The task of institutional development and advancement will continue at the school site level.

We encourage your continued support of our outstanding Catholic schools, as tuition alone cannot cover the actual cost to educate our children. The following schools and their principals are current participants in the Blessing Our Future Program:

  • Our Lady of Mount Carmel (www.olmc.school) ○ Sr. Eva Lujano - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • Mater Dei Juan Diego Academy (www.mdjda.org) ○ Leticia Oseguera - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • St. Rose of Lima (www.strosecv.com ) ○ Jeff Saavedra - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  • St. Pius X (www.spxcv.com) ○ Marissa Amann - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

With the closure of St. Michael’s Academy, all designated funds for the school will follow these transfer students to other Catholic schools in the area. Our office has that list, and we will be tracking these students with additional diocesan tuition assistance.

If you have any questions about the phase-out of this program, please reach out to us directly. You can email your questions to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and your inquiry will be routed to the right person.

Blessings for your shared belief in the incredible value of Catholic education. I pray that hope continues to find its way to you.

In Mission,

John Galvan Director, Office for Schools
